JKTDC Terms of Use
Service This web site (the "Site") is published and maintained by JKTDC, a government organization owned by J & K government and existing in accordance with the laws. When you access, browse or use this Site you accept, without limitation or qualification, the terms and conditions set forth below. These Terms and Conditions of Use and any additional terms posted on this Site together constitute the entire agreement between JKTDC and you with respect to your use of this Site.
Cancellation/Change Rules
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
A)Cancellation of Bookings:
1. Check-in/check out time is 12 Noon.
2. The room tariffs are subject to revision. Tariffs applicable on the date of booking will be charged.
3. Intimation/request of cancellation is to be addressed to the concerned T&T office or from where the reservation was obtained along with original vouchers or at the concerned unit at the time of check-in.
4. In case reservation is made through on-line payment gateway, cancellation/refund request may be sent to JKTDC on the e-mail address: cancellation@jktdc.co.in or at the concerned unit at the time of check-in.
5. In case, the request for cancellation is received, more than 07 days in advance from the scheduled date of check-in, 75% of the booking amount will be refunded.
6. If the request for cancellation is received in between 4th & 7th day from the scheduled date of the check-in, 50% of the advance will be refunded.
7. There shall be no refund if the request of the cancellation is received in less than 04 days from the date of check-in.
8. In case of request for partial cancellation i.e. in reduction of rooms or the period of stay is received from the guest; the rules as in case of cancellation shall apply for the period the cancellation/reduction is sought.
9. The management reserves the right to cancel the advance booking in exceptional and unavoidable circumstances.
10. JKTDC reserves the right to change these rules without prior notice.
11. All disputes are subject to the Jurisdiction of J&K courts only
B.Change Rules:
The change in the booking will be subject to the availability and subject to the following terms and conditions.
1. The booking can be changed only once and the booking once changed can neither be changed nor there will be any refund if the same is canceled.
2. If the request for the change is received, more than 04 days in advance from the scheduled date of check-in, the charges will be 10%
3. If the request for the change is received, in less than 04 days from the scheduled date of check-in, the charges will be 25%, subject to the availability of accommodation in the changed unit, otherwise the amount will be forfeited.
4. There will be no refund of the difference, if the down graded booking change is sought.
5. In case the change of booking is upgraded, the difference of the upgraded booking shall be charged.
All the previous rules & regulations pertaining to cancellation/ Change of Booking are, hereby, superseded by this revised policy.
