Ladakh: Srinagar-Leh highway connects to Ladakh. The 434 kms long journey provides a commanding view of the hills, roads and rivers. If the travelers are coming from Manali, then Manali-Leh road is the most suitable route. The Himachal Pradesh tourism operates luxury and standard coach on this route. The Manali-leh route ru8ns through 5 major passes, the lowest being Rohtang-La and the lowest is Tanglang La.

Railways: Jammu and Kashmir is well connected by railways. The nearest stations in the region are Jammu Tawi in Jammu and Udhampur is the nearest station to Kashmir receiving large number of trains as well as travelers. the trains are also operating with in Kashmir valley from Qazigund to Baramulla.
