Nilgrad: Nilgrad is the place where the confluence of mountains and Indus River merge with each other. Situated at a high altitude, this region is blessed with the red colored lake which makes it an extra ordinary marvel. The locales here believe that this river has curative powers and taking a dip in the river could relieve them from all the diseases. The people residing in the region take a dip in the river once in a week and during Sundays; this river is thronged by many visitors.
Krishnasar Lake: Perched on the height of 3801 meters, this river is a famous spot for trout fishing. Presenting a mesmerizing view, the krishnasar lake is known amongst the finest chain of lakes in the region. The Krishnasar lake is an excellent point where travelers can enjoy getting lazed in the open area spiraled over a vast area in the region.
Baltal: Baltal is extremely stunning grassland which is situated right at the foot of Zoji la pass, adjacent to Ladakh territory. Baltal is more famous for its closeness to Amarnath cave. There is a walk to the cave which is approximately 5 km to the walking distance. During Amarnath Yatra, the pilgrims place their camps on the foot hills.
