Mansar - Forest Covered Hills Place
Manasar is a beautiful lake fringed by forested covered hills, over a mile in length and half a mile in width. This place due to its mythological importance receives good numbers of visitors from different corners of the world. The Shiva temple, Durga temple and Narsimha temple are located in close proximity to the Manasar Lake in Jammu & Kashmir. The Manasar lake is considered to be auspicious and performing three parikramas is assumed to relieve the pilgrims from all sins.
