Lakes in Jammu and Kashmir & JnK Lakes
The Jammu and Kashmir region is blessed with the perennial chains of lakes. Dal Lake, Alpather Lake, Krishnasar Lake, and Mansar lake offers a commanding view of the entire region. During the winter time, these lakes freeze to minus degree Celsius temperatures. At this only, special sporting events are organized. Skiing and House boating are organized by various privately owned sporting clubs. These lakes are also the excellent tourist magnet which entices good numbers of honeymooners every year.
