Sacred Spots
Jammu and Kashmir is abundant with sacred places venerated by both Hindus and Muslims. Spearheading the pilgrimages in the state is the shrine of Vaishno Devi atop the Trikuta Hills. The sacred Hazratbal Shrine housing the Moi-e-Muqqadus (Holy relic) of Prophet Mohammad in Srinagar is revered by both Hindus as well as Muslims. Hill Stations
